“Hosts were awesome, very friendly and welcoming. Had a very homely atmosphere which made us feel like we were staying a weekend with friends rather than tenants at a B&B. As this is a Farm, its a very quiet place to stay and its suitable for a couple who have a love for animals, as there are two awesome resident pet dogs that love lots of attention! Overall found it was good value for a 2 night stay and it was lovely getting to know our hosts.”

“The cottage is small but spotlessly clean, private and comfortable. The lack of a freezer was offset by the ice maker which we used to make ice for the chilly bin when we went out for the day. The washing machine in the shed was perfect! The location is great for a beach walk or a 45 min. drive to get to mountain tracks or Rotokare Scenic Reserve. Stores are a quick 15 minute drive away. ”

“House was OK but needs a thorough clean, especially around stove. On arrival found that the corner cupboard door, by island, was off its hinge and my husband fixed it. Would have been obvious when cleaned. No soap or liquid soap in bathroom. No Guest Book with instructions. The garage door could only be opened with the remote ie no open/shut button. Queen bed had very soft mattress and the bed squeeks. Pillow not great.”

“The view was so lovely ! very quiet relaxing place to stay, and just wonderful to have linen provided. Truly was so tidy and clean when we got there ! Managed to get out and explore the Caves further down at Waverly Beach (just turn right out gate) and drive 2 mins - but you must wait until the tide goes out to explore. Beautiful beach you feel like your at the end of the world.”

“Very clean and beautifuly presented. Basically pet-friendly although close proximity of stock and electric fences made extra management neccessary. Not entirely expected as the property advertised it was fully fenced.”
